Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Management of the assigned project through its entire lifecycle; from award and acceptance of project material at the bid stage to planning, execution, completion and closeout.
  • Identify and mitigate potential QHSE, technical and commercial risks for assigned projects.
  • Understand and implement solutions that will strengthen client relationships and monitor client performance against stipulated KPI’s, ensuring feedback is implemented in future work.
  • Be responsible for and monitor project execution and provide support to offshore teams during ongoing challenges and any project or contractual variations that may arise.
  • Liaise closely with the Operations Manager on any forecasted equipment and personnel requirements as they come to light.
  • Provide support to all departments where required in providing required month end information relating to assigned projects.
  • Assist crewing in personnel requirements and travel to confirm personnel resource meet the project timescales.
  • Manage supplier relationships and supply chain with Base Engineers to make sure equipment resource meets the project timescale.
  • Carry out site and client visits were required.

Qualifications / Experience

  • University degree in Survey / Geomatics or Hydrography or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive field survey experience related to offshore survey.
  • Considerable Survey Project Management experience (Project Surveyor and Party Chief experience will be considered).
  • Must have a good technical understanding of offshore survey.
